"I figure we all have stories where Phil rescued when you had a line out the door Saturday night and the dip cabinet broke. That is the remarkable thing. We all have stories like that, where Phil rescued you. the line out the door may be an analogy or the dip cabinet could be some other trouble life threw at you. The point is, in work or in life - when something broke, Phil was there to help. He was the guy who saved your butt."
"He saved bubble wrap for me so I could have it to pop on stressful days."

"As it turns out I do have a Phil story that I'd like to share with you. It was after I had quit managing and was working odd jobs for the company, delivery, picking up shifts etc. I don't remember where we were coming from, but it was just Phil and I in his car. When we got to the Guadalupe store, he stopped and told me to hold on. He said something to the extent of "Taylor, it has come to my attention that your father passed well before his time and that you take a lot of responsibility on for your younger broker, aside from all the hard work you do. I just wanted you to know that hard work pays off..." and he handed me $200. He asked my not to tell anyone about that, which I didn't.
